GREAT marketing tactic indeed! I checked out their website and social media pages right after watching their pitch. I was TRULY inspired. The Lip Bar has been featured in Ebony, Essence, Cosmopolitan, and caters to the twenty-something year old’s individuality. Its mission is to “challenge the current standard of beauty by creating a lipstick experience that is unsurpassed in craftsmanship, quality and color.” The lipsticks are handcrafted with natural ingredients like vitamins A & E, shea butter, jojoba and avocado oil while moisturizing, softening and amplifying lips, in bold colors. The Lip Bar is now a $400,000 brand. How could Shark Tank ever turn them down?
