What is barre? According to Fitness Magazine, “Barre-based classes use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements.”

Barre is great for those who want to shed some pounds and tone up, without having to deal with any heaving weight lighting lifting or hard core running. A perfect combination of yoga, pilates and ballet. I felt like a strong, well-centered ballerina. 😂
But to top off the workout with wine? Genius! I can’t wait to visit Malibu Wines again to check out the other fun activities they have to offer!
